Continuing their trend of posting remarkable results in the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup series, Top Kart USA left the New Castle Motorsports Park (NCMP) with seven victories and 27 podium results. Taking on the McLaughlin Motorsports Nationals rounds three action this past weekend, the 2012 Manufacturers Cup award winner was on top of their game at the ultra-fast NCMP facility just one hour east of their Top Kart USA headquarters.
“On behalf of everyone at Top Kart USA, we are extremely proud of the team’s hard work and efforts put forth this weekend for the third round of the WKA Manufacturers Cup series,” noted Top Kart USA’s Bill Mclaughlin Jr. “Our momentum hasn’t slowed down, but just now getting started. We strive to be the best and everyone in the Top Kart family helps make this effort possible.”
In TaG Senior competition, karting standout Mason Chelootz put Top Kart USA on the podium twice during the weekend. Finishing P2 on Saturday, Chelootz upped the ante on Sunday after taking the win in the highly competitive category. The Texan also placed second on Sunday in the Parilla Senior class while Austin Elliot placed fourth in the category on Saturday. Jake Johnston would add another third place podium finish in TaG Senior on Sunday.
Contesting several categories, cadet rising star Zach Holden would account for an impressive two victories and an additional three podium results. Placing fifth in Komet Sportsman and third in Yamaha Sportsman on Saturday, Holden would take the checkered flag in the Cadet Sportsman class and top the blocks during the afternoon podium presentations. Holden would then complete the weekend sweep of the Cadet Sportsman class with a daring last corner, last lap pass to nab his second win and add a third place result in Comet Sportsman on Sunday. Lance Fenderson would join Holden on the podium in Yahama Sportsman on Saturday with his fourth place effort. 2013 FWT Micro Max Champion and Top Kart newcomer Giovanni Bromante recently off of the Tony Kart chassis has a successful first National on the new brand. Placing in multiple top 10 finishes and times close to the leaders he excelled above and beyond.
Yet another Ferris would be victorious in New Castle, as Yamaha Rookie pilot Conner Ferris took top honors on Sunday, with Andrew Bische joining him on the podium in P4. Patrick Olsen added a seventh victory to the team’s tally after topping the blocks in Sunday’s Komet Pro category. Olsen also put Top Kart USA on the podium in Yamaha Senior after his fourth place effort on Saturday.
Kaden Harter would be a double podium finisher in the Yamaha Junior class, posting third on Saturday before improving to second on Sunday. The Sunday podium would also see Top Kart USA team drivers Emerson Reed and Killian Keaveny take fourth and fifth place honors respectively.
Competing the list of podium results would be Bobby Cummings in Komet Pro on Saturday, taking second overall. Chase Jones came home third in the Sunday Yamaha Senior final as did Keavney in Komet Junior.

Top Kart USA will next see action at the USPKS event June 7-9 at the same New Castle Motorsports Park facility in New Castle, Indiana.
