Rear Axle Height Adjustment
Problem - Too much rear grip in the kart with high level of rubber on the track surface?
Solution
Raise the axle which will in return lower the chassis one step at a time until the kart is free enough through the corners.
Problem - Chassis is lacking rear grip through the mid to high speed corners.
Solution
If the chassis is in the low or middle position (axle in TOP or Middle position), raise the chassis (LOWER the axle) to gain grip and side bite.
Bottom Position
When to use this setting?
Ideal starting position for 99% of the tracks / events you will attend.
When track has minimal surface grip.
If driver has a short torso and needs a higher center of gravity to assist with weight transfer.
Middle Position
When to use this setting?
This is the next step to freeing up the chassis if you are in a medium to high grip scenario and need a little less grip and/or side bite.
If the driver is a bit taller and does not need as much center of gravity to assist with weight transfer.
Top Position
When to use this setting?
This is the highest position for the axle to be in to remove the most grip from the chassis by means of ride height.
This is typically never needed as the chassis is plenty free and this will eliminate almost all grip from the chassis.
If the track surface has a very high grip level or rubber build up and needing to free up the chassis significantly.
