Step 4: Install Controller and Contactor Components

Place the controller onto the floor pan over the pre-drilled holes from Step 3.

  • 4.1: Utilize the controller mounting hardware from your wiring harness kit to fasten the controller to the floor pan. This typically is included in the Alltrax Controller box if received from Top Kart USA.
    • You’ll use the 4mm Allen and 10mm wrench to secure the controller to the floor pan.
    • Make Sure that you run the bolts upward from bottom of floor pan so the nuts are on top of the controller. This prevent them from grounding on track surface and prolonging hardware life.
  • 4.2: Place the contactor onto the floor pan over the pre-drilled holes from Step 3. Utilize the contactor mounting hardware from your wiring harness kit to fasten it to the floor pan. This typically is included in the box with the contactor if received from Top Kart USA.
    • You’ll use the 3mm Allen and 8mm wrench to secure this with the M5 hardware for the contactor mounting to the floor pan.
    • Again, run the bolts upward from bottom of floor pan so the conical (countersunk head) is flush with floor pan reducing risk of hardware dragging on track surface.
