Step 1: Attach the Lower Fairing Panel Support
- Attach the lower fairing panel support to the frame tab at the very front of the frame. Note: The latest version brackets are vertical, unlike the angled brackets shown in the video.
- 1.1: Use the M6 countersunk hardware and washer to secure the bracket to the tab, placing the rubber washer between the bracket and the tab before tightening.
Step 2: Install the Fairing Panel Pivots
- Begin installing the three fairing panel pivots onto the lower and upper support brackets.
- 2.1: Use a 10mm wrench and an 11mm wrench to tighten the pivots, ensuring they are securely fastened before attaching the fairing.
Step 3: Mount the Driver Fairing onto the Supports
- Push the fairing panel onto the pivots, using the rubber grommets within the fairing, until the pivots protrude through and reveal the hole for the fairing clip.
- 3.1: For the upper pivots, typically push the clips downward through the holes, following the angle of the fairing (though there’s no wrong way to secure with clips).
- 3.2: For the lower pivot, position the clip perpendicular to the pivot for ease of installation.
