Install Floor Pan onto the Go Kart Frame
Step 1: Position the Floor Pan
- Slightly lift the front of the frame upward to allow the floor pan to slide under the kart frame, above the kart stand it is setting on.
- 1.1: Ensure the front of the floor pan is setting on top of the front tabs.
- Lower the frame back onto the kart stand, making sure the floor pan stays on top of the front tabs.
- 1.2: Position the middle and rear sections of the floor pan below the floor pan tabs on the frame.
Step 2: Secure the Floor Pan with Hardware
- Begin installing the floor pan hardware kit. Note: The installation video shows older hardware; current kits include updated components.
- 2.1: Install the hardware with the countersunk head of the bolt and M10 washer on the bottom side of the floor pan, facing upward, and the M6 nylock nut on top.
- 2.2: Place rubber isolation washers between the floor pan and frame tabs.
- 2.3: Pro Tip: This setup minimizes hardware dragging on the track, reducing the need to replace nuts and bolts frequently.
