Step 1: Install the Pedal Stud
- Choose either pedal to install first (order doesn’t matter). Take one pedal stud and slide it through the stud hole in the frame, starting from the inside and pushing through to the outside.
- 1.1: Ensure the nut machined onto the stud is on the inner side of the frame.
- 1.2: Once pushed through, place a nylock nut on the outside end of the stud and use two 13mm wrenches to fully tighten it, securing the stud to the frame in a fixed position with no movement.
Step 2: Mount the Pedal onto the Stud
- Slide a washer onto the stud first, then slide the pedal onto the stud.
- 2.1: Place another washer after the pedal, followed by a nylock nut. Tighten the nut until snug but loose enough to allow the pedal to travel back and forth without binding. It’s suggested to tighten fully, then slowly back off while testing the pedal feel. Pro Tip: The pedal should not wobble side to side on the stud.
Step 3: Install the Second Pedal
- Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the other pedal, following the same process to secure the stud and mount the pedal.
Step 4: Attach the Pedal Return Springs
- Place the pedal return springs onto the pedals and attach them to the eyelets on the frame.
