6 POLE POSITIONS, 5 WINS AND 13 PODIUMS FOR TOP KART USA AT ROAD AMERICA

Traveling North to the Dairy State of Wisconsin, Top Kart USA would enjoy a successful weekend at Road America claiming six pole positions, five main event victories and thirteen podium results. Taking on the stout competition of the Route 66 Sprint Series, the Indianapolis, Indiana based team were the ones to beat in the heat during scorching temperatures over the June 30 to July 1 weekend.

“Blistering hot weather didn’t keep the Twister or Mini Blue Eagle chassis from laying down quick lap times and pulling off great finishes throughout the entire weekend,” explained Bill McLaughlin Jr. “Having the ability to adapt to any track condition very easily and efficiently with our chassis makes it much less work to get the wins. We plan to take this momentum into our next events and provide the same results!”

With drivers scattered amongst several classes, the Top Kart brand was at the front in almost each and every one of them. Claiming victories on the weekend were Adam Maxell in Mini Swift who was able to turn his Saturday morning pole position into a main event win that afternoon and added a third place podium result on Sunday. Alex Kardashian would repeat Maxwell’s Mini Swift performance on Saturday with a pole position and victory in X30 Senior but could only manage a fourth place finish Sunday but secured the Yamaha Senior pole and victory Sunday after a fifth place finish Saturday. Maxwell would return to the podium in Saturday’s Yamaha Cadet class securing a pole position and third place result.

Kaden Wharff would dominate the Yamaha Junior class claiming one pole position and two main event victories and added a total of four podium results to the Top Kart USA tally claiming a pair of second place results in X30 Junior. Wharff also secured an X30 Junior pole position on Sunday.

More podium results would come throughout the weekend as Austin Olds crossed the stripe P3 in Micro Swift during the first day of competition and nearly repeated his performance on Sunday with a fourth place effort. Zach Collins competed in the Yamaha Junior class finish third on Saturday and seventh on Sunday while josh Fierke added third and fourth place finishes in Yamaha Senior.

More strong results came from several other Top Kart USA drivers throughout the weekend. Dakota Pasek claimed fourth and eighth place results in KA100 Senior while Jonathon Yobbagy finished sixth and eighth in X30 Senior. The Yamaha Senior field was dominated by Top Kart participants as Arie Venberg added sixth and eighth place finishes while brother Jake Venberg scored a second place podium result on Saturday. Nate Dean would come home seventh and 11^th while Fierke added a pair of tenth place results. Carter Pease scored 13^th and 14^th finishes while Jason Thomas finished 16^th and Francis Wilson was 17^th during Saturday’s wheel-to-wheel action.

“Coming off a very hot and long weekend in Wisconsin it was another fun one to watch the Top Kart drivers excel with stunning results,” added Top Kart USA’s Blake Deister. “We are very proud of all Top Kart drivers that participated at the event and are looking forward to many more podium results to come in upcoming events.
